Private 5G, with Numerisat
Sites without a usable network are no longer a dead end.
Plenty of industrial sites have no usable connectivity at all. No fixed line, no reliable cellular, and no realistic prospect of either. Until now that ruled them out of any platform that assumes a link.
Together with our partner Numerisat we can now put a private 5G network on the site itself: core, radios, and satellite backup where there is no fixed line, with ELIAN running on top of it.
That combination means the compute, the network and the operations layer all belong to the site. Detection, rules and alerting run locally on ELIAN edge nodes, the private 5G network carries traffic across the site, and the satellite link is there for what genuinely needs to leave.
